Interview on Wednesday basics:
Out of 150 applicants they narrowed it down to 20. I was in that 20.
Drove the hour and a half pretty confident.
Sat in his office the whole time while he told me why I was not suited for the job and why he thought I would be horrible for it. I also heard a ton about how “easy and unstressful” my current job apparently is. I work with products that range between $200,000 and $2M. He then randomly decided I should be interviewed for another department of the company, and passed me off to that guy.
Essentially, they expected me to want to spend 3 hours of my day driving for a 6 day a week, $13/hr job- the job I didn’t apply for. The job I didn’t have an interview for originally. And yes, they’re well aware that I live that far away at the time being.
The last jobs I’ve interviewed for have just pissed me off. Like really, why are you wasting both of our time.
